BISP payment increase 2026 Rs 14500

BISP Payment Increase 2026

BISP is a federal program of the Government of Pakistan that provides cash support to poor families. The quarterly installment rose from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500 effective January 2025, and Rs. 14,500 per quarter remains the current amount — no further increase has been officially announced since. For official updates, visit the Benazir Income Support Programme website.

The installment has grown step by step: Rs 9,000, then Rs 10,500, then Rs 13,500, and Rs 14,500 from January 2025. A note on viral claims: the “20%” figure seen online refers to the annual BISP budget rising to Rs 716 billion in FY 2025-26, not the quarterly payment, which rose by Rs 1,000 (about 7%). However, claims that beneficiaries are now receiving Rs 18,000 are false — officials have announced no new increase.
