Some websites are still showing the older Rs. 13,500 figure. If you see anything other than Rs. 14,500 for the current quarter, treat it as outdated. The only reliable way to confirm your own household’s exact amount is to check directly on the 8171 portal, since individual payments can vary slightly with additional stipends such as Taleemi Wazaif or Nashonuma.
According to an official BISP briefing at Parliament House, the quarterly Kafaalat payment is set to rise from Rs. 14,500 to Rs. 18,000 starting January 2027. This was confirmed alongside news that BISP’s proposed budget for FY2026–27 has been increased to Rs. 844 billion, up from Rs. 716 billion the previous year, with cash assistance currently reaching around 12 million households nationwide.
Until January 2027, both the current and the next quarterly cycle will continue to pay Rs. 14,500. Any figure above Rs. 18,000 circulating online for a future date is not confirmed by any official source and should be ignored.
