Bank Account For BISP Beneficiaries
BISP has opened bank accounts for its Kafalat beneficiaries to make quarterly payments safer, faster, and more dignified. Earlier, cash was distributed through camp visits, where distribution stalls were set up and eligible women collected their money after biometric verification. Women from villages and remote areas faced long queues and repeated failed visits; many left home early in the morning, waited for hours, and still returned without their money.
Long waits at camps also caused unpleasant incidents and, in some cases, illegal deductions by agents. To end these problems, BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid decided to open bank accounts for the program’s deserving women. Each quarterly installment is now transferred directly to the beneficiary’s own account on schedule, so she can withdraw her money whenever she wants.
BISP Bank Account and Digital Payment Update 2026
The quarterly Kafalat installment has been raised from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500 in 2026 to help vulnerable families cope with inflation and rising living costs. BISP announced bank accounts for women beneficiaries starting with a pilot in seven districts; by early 2026 the program reported that 10 million bank accounts had been opened for women beneficiaries, bringing millions of low-income women into the formal banking system.
BISP has also introduced a digital payment model: beneficiaries receive free SIM cards issued through BISP offices and campsites, linked to digital wallets. Women receive SMS alerts when the installment is disbursed and can withdraw the amount in portions as needed. In coordination with the State Bank of Pakistan, BISP has made its seven partner banks interoperable, so beneficiaries can collect payments from any authorized agent instead of being tied to a single provider.

Withdraw Cash Through Finger Verification
This program has introduced easy ways for its beneficiaries to withdraw money, so people can access cash without difficulty. The installment received under this program can be withdrawn from several sources. To maintain transparency, BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid introduced withdrawals through biometric verification. Beneficiaries can now visit their nearest BISP-designated bank ATM and withdraw their cash after fingerprint verification.
Go to your nearest ATM, scan your thumbprint on the machine, and select the language on the screen. Select the BISP option and enter your 13-digit CNIC number. After your thumbprint is verified, use the “Check Balance” option to view your balance.
The ATM will show the current balance in your account. To withdraw cash, select “Yes”, enter the amount you need, and confirm to receive the cash. Always collect your receipt from the ATM after withdrawing money.
