Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched Phase IV of the scheme in September 2026. Under this phase, for example, the government offered 10,000 tractors of 50 to 65 horsepower with a total budget of Rs 17.6 billion. Finally, out of 213,637 applications, officials declared 128,757 farmers eligible and held a transparent digital balloting with district-wise quotas based on cultivated land.
Phase V of the scheme offers 9,500 high-power tractors of 75 to 125 horsepower with a subsidy of up to Rs 1 million per tractor. Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Green Tractors Program
If you are a resident of Punjab and meet the following eligibility criteria, then you can apply for the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme.
- The candidate farmer should own at least 7 acres of agricultural land (Phase V requirement).
- The candidate must not have previously availed a tractor under any government loan.
- You must submit the application online through the official Green Tractor portal.
- The candidate should visit the Department of Agriculture Extension, Punjab.
