پنجاب کی عوامی وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف عوام کی خدمت کے لیے کوشاں ہیں۔ مسئلہ تعلیم کی بہتری کا ہو یا صحت کے مراکز کی جدید کاری کا، پینے کے صاف پانی کا ہو یا صوبے میں صفائی ستھرائی کا، مسائل کی کثرت کے باوجود انہوں نے تمام مسائل کو اپنی ترجیحات میں شامل کیا ہے۔ پنجاب حکومت نے تعلیمی سال 2026-27 کے آغاز پر سرکاری اسکولوں کے طلبہ میں 3 کروڑ مفت نصابی کتب کی تقسیم شروع کر دی ہے۔
حکومت پنجاب بچوں کے اعلی تعلیم کی طرف توجہ دلانے کے لیے بھی بہت سے اقدامات کر رہی ہیں. کالجزاور یونیورسٹیوں کے طلباء و طالبات کو بہت سی سہولیات فراہم کی جا رہی ہیں. اہل یونیورسٹیوں کے طلباء وطالبات کو میرٹ کی بنیاد پر لیپ ٹاپ اورآئی پیڈز تقسیم کیے جا رہے ہیں. تاکہ جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے تعلیم کا حسو ممکن بنایا جا سکے.
پسماندہ علاقوں کے رہائشی طلبہ کے ٹرانسپورٹ کے مسئلے کو حل کرنے کے لیے حکومت پنجاب نے انہیں الیکٹرک اور پیٹرول موٹر بائکس فراہم کرنے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ ان موٹر بائکس کی تقسیم مئی 2025 سے شروع ہو چکی ہے۔ یہ موٹر بائکس طلبہ کو انتہائی کم قیمتوں میں آسان اقساط پر دی جا رہی ہیں۔ حکومت پنجاب اپنے مختلف اقدامات کے ذریعے ہر ممکن کوشش کر رہی ہے کہ تعلیم کے راستے میں حائل تمام رکاوٹوں کو دور کیا جا سکے۔

For the 2026-27 academic year, the Punjab free books distribution drive began with 30 million free textbooks for students of government schools across the province. Relief for College or University Students

Laptops and iPads are being distributed to students of eligible universities on a merit basis, so that education can be promoted through modern technology.
To solve the transport problems of students living in backward areas, the Punjab government announced electric and petrol motorbikes for them. Distribution began in May 2025, and these motorbikes are being given to students at very low prices through easy installments.
