Honhar Scholarship Award Letter Next Steps for Students

Honhar Scholarship Award Letter

Once a student receives their award letter, the process is essentially complete; no additional steps are needed at this stage. However, one important task still remains for a specific group of applicants.

Documents Still Required for Some Students

Students who have not yet submitted their required documents must now prepare the following:

  • Deed of Agreement (printed on e-stamp paper)
  • Surety Bond (also printed on e-stamp paper)

These documents need to be submitted at the Tabish Alwari Building. On the other hand, students who have already completed this submission earlier do not need to take any further action — their case is considered closed.

Refund of 1st and 2nd Semester Fees

Good news for Phase 3 candidates: students selected under the Honhar Scholarship Phase 3 will receive a refund of their 1st and 2nd Semester fees. That said, this benefit comes with an important condition attached, explained below.

CGPA Requirement to Continue the Scholarship

To keep receiving the Honhar Scholarship all the way through to the 8th Semester, students must maintain a CGPA of 2.7 or above throughout their academic journey.

  • If a student’s CGPA drops below 2.7, their scholarship will be temporarily suspended.
  • Once the CGPA is improved back above the required threshold, the scholarship will be reinstated automatically.

This means students don’t permanently lose eligibility; the scholarship can resume once academic performance meets the criteria again.

Keep Your Award Letter Safe

Students are advised to keep their award letter safely, as it serves as proof of selection. The application status shown on the official website will be reviewed and confirmed shortly.

Understanding the Merit List Selection

It’s important to note that the list published is a merit-based list, and the Honhar Scholarship itself operates on a merit basis. In simple terms, if your name appears on this list, your selection has already been finalised.
