Note: There is no standalone ‘Khushal Kisan Program’ loan. The official farmer-loan instrument is the Punjab Kisan Card, issued by the Bank of Punjab (official portal: agripunjab.gov.pk).
To improve the country’s production, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has launched the Khushal Kisan program, under which loans and heavy machinery items will be provided to deserving farmers, so that they can improve their farming and expand the agriculture sector because it is the most important sector of Pakistan.

If there is no improvement in production, the farmers have to suffer, and not only the farmers but it has a bad effect on the entire Punjab. The Khushal Kisan program also provides loans to eligible farmers to purchase inputs such as fertilizers and seeds. The draw for green tractors has now also been held through the Khushal Kisan program.

Kisan cards are being provided to farmers to offer them facilities, under which all farmers will be provided with means for the purchase of fertilizer and various inputs. Khushal Kisan Card has been launched by the Government of Punjab to help farmers improve their farming. After opening a biometric mobile account, one can get the card by easily checking the Kisan Card application from any HBL Connect shop. Within a few days, you can get a Khushal Kisan card from your nearest tehsil office.
Provision Of Machinery Items In Khushal Kisan Program
Maryam Nawaz, while announcing the good news of the Khushal Kisan program, said that it is for the deserving farmers. It will provide essential items to improve the production of the land. There will be a supply of machinery items including tractors, threshers, plows, and field equipment for weeding and irrigation to achieve maximum production in less time.

Benefits of the Khushal Kisan Program
In the Khushal Kisan program, many farmers have benefited and many are benefiting, as this is the first support program for farmers by Maryam Nawaz, which focuses on improving the productivity of farmers. Threshers and many other machinery items are received through the Khushal Kisan program, which are provided only to eligible persons.
Farmers who want to benefit from the program or are struggling to improve their production will be provided with loans under this program so that they can purchase essential commodities like fertilizer and seeds to improve their production. Kisan Card Loan Amount
The Kisan Card provides an interest-free seasonal loan of Rs. 30,000 per acre, up to a maximum of Rs. 150,000 (Phases 1–2).
How to Check Kisan Card Status
To check your Kisan Card status, send an SMS with ‘PKC’ followed by a space and your CNIC number to 8070.
Eligibility Criteria
- Punjab resident with a valid CNIC.
- Own 1–12.5 acres of land recorded in PLRA records.
- Mobile SIM registered on the applicant’s own CNIC.
- No bank default.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has decided to provide cheap electricity to farmers through a 12 billion rupee package while promoting agricultural reforms.
