Impact on Consumers Before Ramadan

The petroleum products price increase before Ramadan is likely to increase financial strain on the public. Fuel prices play a key role in determining transportation costs, which directly affect the prices of food and other daily essentials.

With Ramadan approaching, many families are already preparing for higher household spending. The increase in petrol and diesel rates may contribute to further inflation, as transportation costs often influence market prices.

Transporters, traders, and small business owners are also expected to feel the impact, which could eventually be passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices for goods and services.
