In June 2026, BISP signed agreements with 1LINK and 6 partner banks — HBL, Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, HBL Microfinance Bank, Easypaisa, and JazzCash — to launch digital social protection wallets. Stipends are credited directly to beneficiaries’ wallets and can be withdrawn from any partner bank’s retailer or agent nationwide. Biometric verification remains mandatory for all transactions.
