BISP’s New Measures for Money Distribution 14500

You have to read this article to know the details of BISP’s new measures for money distribution. These steps should be read carefully. Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, is taking strong steps to bring more transparency to the programme and make it easier for deserving families to receive their payments.

Through these measures, deserving women have been given easy access to receive money. Since the inception of BISP in 2008, continuous improvements have been made. Every government has appreciated this programme and made every possible effort to improve it. The primary goal of these initiatives is to empower women and reduce poverty in the country. The Benazir Kafaalat quarterly installment now stands at Rs. 14,500 — it was raised from Rs. 10,500 to Rs. 13,500 in January 2025, and then increased by another Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 14,500 in February 2026 on the announcement of the BISP Chairperson, so that poor families get more help against rising inflation.

New Process of Money Distribution 14500

People were facing problems in getting their aid money, so the government has changed the method of money distribution to make it easier for people to receive their payments. Under the new payment model, BISP has also introduced the Benazir Social Protection Account — working towards one woman, one bank account — so beneficiaries can receive their quarterly installments directly and securely without depending on agents or middlemen.

BISP 8171 Web Portal Updated

The Benazir Income Support Programme has introduced the 8171 web portal. Through this portal, all eligible and ineligible persons can check their eligibility and their BISP account balance.

BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid has upgraded this portal so that beneficiaries can complete their registration and check their eligibility easily. The 8171 web portal is simple to use.

To use it, visit the official BISP web portal. The portal opens as a form where you enter your CNIC number and the code shown in the image at the given place, then click the button to find out your eligibility or account balance through a notification.

Poverty Score

The BISP Chairperson has introduced several improvements to include more deserving families in the Benazir Income Support Programme. Eligibility for the Benazir Kafaalat programme is decided through the Proxy Means Test (PMT) score of the NSER survey.

The current PMT cut-off score for eligibility is 32 — families with a PMT score of 32 or below can qualify for the programme. For families that include a differently-abled person, the PMT cut-off is 37. If your PMT score is above these limits, you cannot receive Kafaalat payments.

Families who qualify receive quarterly financial assistance, and their children can also get Taleemi Wazaif educational stipends to meet school expenses. If you have not registered yet, complete your dynamic registration at the nearest BISP office as soon as possible and get your record included in the programme.

Increase Payment

Because of rising inflation in the country, the assistance amount of the Benazir Income Support Programme has also increased. The Benazir Kafaalat quarterly installment was raised from Rs. 8,500 to Rs. 10,500, then to Rs. 13,500 in January 2025, and now stands at Rs. 14,500 after the BISP Chairperson announced a further Rs. 1,000 increase in February 2026. Only deserving, eligible women receive this quarterly installment. In this programme, quarterly assistance funds are also issued to transgender persons.

BISP has included transgender persons (Khawaja Sara) in the programme to ensure equal rights in society. Like other deserving beneficiaries, they receive the quarterly installment of Rs. 14,500. The purpose is that they do not have to resort to any illegal activity to meet their needs and do not have to depend on others for support.

Final Words

These enhancements signal that BISP is tightening controls and improving delivery of assistance. If you are eligible, make sure your registration and data are up-to-date, go to official collection centres with proper ID, and avoid any middlemen asking for extra charges — the process is meant to be free and direct.
