What are Educational Scholarships?
Scholarships give children some cash to help them continue their education. The Government of Pakistan launched this program to encourage children. Under this program, deserving students of BISP Kafalat beneficiary families receive educational scholarships. The official Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program page gives the full program details. The 2026 quarterly stipend tiers are: Primary (Classes 1 to 5): Rs. 2,000 for boys and Rs. 2,500 for girls; Secondary (Classes 6 to 10): Rs. 3,000 for boys and Rs. 3,500 for girls; Higher Secondary: Rs. 4,000 for boys and Rs. 4,500 for girls. In addition, girls who complete primary education receive a one-time graduation bonus of Rs. 3,000.
So far, the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program has registered more than 9 million children. Under this program, children aged 4 to 22 years from all eligible BISP Kafalat beneficiary families across the country receive educational scholarships. These scholarships help children who are still studying but cannot meet their expenses.
Also, students with 70% or more school attendance will receive the scholarships. The government of Pakistan started these education scholarships to solve students’ problems, so intelligent children do not miss out on education because of expenses. With this cash, they meet their needs.

Education Scholarships Registration 2026
The government of Pakistan wants no child to be deprived of education if the expenses are not met. Therefore, the government of Pakistan has allocated 50% of the scholarships for female students. Special persons can also get a stipend by submitting an application.
There is no official app for Taleemi Wazaif registration, so beware of fake apps asking for your personal details. Instead, you can enroll through the nearest BISP Tehsil Office or through the child’s school. Follow these steps:
- First, make sure the child’s mother is an active BISP Kafalat beneficiary.
- Next, the child must be aged 4 to 22 years and hold a valid NADRA B-form.
- Then, visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with the mother’s CNIC and the child’s B-form, or enroll through the child’s school.
- Ask the school to verify the enrollment slip and submit it to the BISP office.
- After verification, the BISP office registers the child in the program, and quarterly stipends arrive with the Kafalat payment.

Eligible Students
First, check the eligibility criteria that Ehsaas has laid down for the scholarship program.
