Benazir Taleemi Wazaif registration guide for ineligible families 2026

Correct Registration Method for Ineligible Families

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif — earlier called the Ehsaas Education Scholarships — pays a quarterly stipend to children of BISP Kafalat families. First, note an important correction: BISP offers no official online registration form for this programme. Therefore, if officials marked your family ineligible, you cannot apply online. Instead, first qualify for BISP Kafalat through the NSER dynamic survey at your nearest BISP tehsil office. Then enrol your school-going children for the Taleemi Wazaif stipend.

Only children of mothers who are active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries can receive the Taleemi Wazaif stipend. In addition, the child must attend a school or college and hold a NADRA B-Form. The child must also keep at least 70% attendance every quarter. If officials marked your family ineligible, complete a re-survey through the NSER dynamic registry to restore your eligibility.

Follow this correct procedure — it uses no online form at any step. First, check your family’s status by sending your CNIC number to 8171 or through the 8171 web portal. If the reply says ineligible, visit the nearest BISP tehsil office with your original CNIC. There, complete the NSER dynamic survey to update your household record. After officials accept the mother as an active Kafalat beneficiary, take the child’s NADRA B-Form to the BISP tehsil office. Also carry the school admission slip. The staff will then enrol the child for Taleemi Wazaif. Finally, beware of fake websites or agents asking for document photos or fees. BISP registration is free, and it never uses an online form.

Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

The government has set clear eligibility criteria for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif. Only children of active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries qualify — families outside the programme cannot enrol their children directly. However, if officials declared your family ineligible, you can return through the NSER dynamic survey. For this, update your household information at the nearest BISP tehsil office. The staff also completes the stipend registration at the BISP tehsil office, not at an Ehsaas or NADRA centre.

  • The child’s mother is an active BISP Kafalat beneficiary.
  • The child attends a school or college (primary to higher secondary level).
  • The child holds a valid NADRA B-Form (Child Registration Certificate).
  • The child maintains at least 70% school or college attendance every quarter.
  • If officials declared your family ineligible, complete an NSER re-survey at the nearest BISP tehsil office first.
  • After the mother becomes eligible, register the child at the BISP tehsil office with the B-Form and admission slip.
  • BISP pays the stipend quarterly together with the mother’s Kafalat payment.

If officials declared your family ineligible, do not pay any agent. Also, do not trust any ‘online registration’ form. The only official way back is the NSER dynamic survey. Visit your nearest BISP tehsil office with the mother’s original CNIC. Then update your household information. If your poverty score meets the threshold, BISP enrols the mother in Kafalat. Only then can you register her school-going children for the Taleemi Wazaif stipend.

Taleemi Wazaif Stipend Amounts for 2026

BISP pays the 2026 quarterly Taleemi Wazaif stipend per child at these rates. For primary level: Rs. 2,000 for boys and Rs. 2,500 for girls. For secondary level: Rs. 3,000 for boys and Rs. 3,500 for girls. For higher secondary level: Rs. 4,000 for boys and Rs. 4,500 for girls. In addition, girls who complete primary education receive a one-time graduation bonus of Rs. 3,000. BISP announced these increased rates in March 2026.

If you have not registered your children yet, enrol them as soon as the mother becomes an active Kafalat beneficiary. BISP then pays the stipend quarterly together with the mother’s Kafalat payment. The Rs. 3,000 graduation bonus rewards girls who finish primary school, on top of the quarterly stipend.

Documents Required for Registration

Keep these documents ready before visiting the BISP tehsil office. You need the mother’s original CNIC and the child’s NADRA B-Form (Child Registration Certificate). Also bring the child’s school admission slip or enrolment proof. You do not need any online form or document photos. Anyone asking you to upload documents to a website for Taleemi Wazaif registration is running a scam.

At the BISP tehsil office, the representative verifies your documents and enrols the child for the stipend. You will receive confirmation by SMS from 8171. BISP then pays the quarterly stipend together with the mother’s Kafalat payment through the designated payment points. Therefore, no separate online registration step exists at any stage.
