Dawn report on the 3 October 2026 launch: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched an online system for issuing land record Fard, the record of rights document that proves land ownership. Reported: the KP e-Fard portal went live on Friday, 2 October 2026, together with a digital public feedback system for revenue services.
How to get your e-Fard
Maryam Ki Dastak is Punjab’s doorstep government services program, and it is different from KP’s own Dastak App. Reported: citizens can get their e-Fard through three channels: NADRA e-Sahulat Centres, the official self-service website, and KP’s Dastak App.
NADRA biometric verification is required to download the Fard, and the fee is paid electronically through 1LINK or Easypaisa. The fee amount has not been published. Reported: once downloaded, the Fard stays saved in the user’s account so it can be re-downloaded later, and each Fard carries a QR code that can be verified against the central land record.
Digital public feedback system
A digital public feedback system has been introduced alongside the portal for revenue services. Reported: randomised calls are made to people who used revenue services, and the calls are audio-recorded. Callers rate their experience on four satisfaction levels, whose names have not been published. Cases where users report dissatisfaction are sent to the Deputy Commissioner’s dashboard, and the feedback is used as a key performance indicator in the DC’s monthly meetings.
Chief Secretary’s review on 5 October
The Chief Secretary reviewed the system in a meeting on Monday, 5 October 2026. Reported: an awareness campaign about the new services was ordered, a Board of Revenue call centre is being set up, and AI-based services are planned for the future.
