NADRA biker service executive processing a CNIC application at a citizen's home

NADRA Home Service

NADRA’s Biker Service is the authority’s home-based identity service: a NADRA Registration Executive visits your home or office on a motorbike carrying the full registration equipment — a customised processing box and backpack — and completes your application on the spot, like a portable NADRA centre. NADRA then couriers the finished card to your address. The Interior Ministry launched the service in September 2022 at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad, and it has since expanded to more cities. To book, call NADRA’s helpline 1777 from any mobile network (Jazz, Ufone, Telenor or Zong) or 051-111-786-100 from a landline, speak to a representative, and share the details of the service you need. You will receive an SMS confirmation with your appointment details, and a NADRA biker will reach your home or office at the appointed time. Cities Where Biker Service is Currently Available

NADRA’s newly introduced biker service is designed to provide ease and convenience to citizens. So that they can update their CNICs generated at their doorstep. The move is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to modernize its services and make identity documents more accessible to the public. The biker service eliminates the need to visit NADRA offices, thereby saving time and reducing the stress of standing in long queues.

The service began as a September 2022 pilot in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. It then expanded to Sindh: Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas got the service in January 2025, and Karachi’s fleet grew from 3 to 8 biker units in June 2025. As of the latest press reporting (August 2026), the biker service is available in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Lahore, Karachi and Hyderabad. Note: NADRA publishes no official city list, so this is the latest press-reported coverage — call 1777 to confirm availability in your area.

NADRA has introduced a home delivery service allowing citizens to receive their ID cards directly at home through a biker service. This initiative makes the process faster, more convenient, and safe, eliminating the need to visit NADRA offices in person.

How to Use the Biker Service for CNIC Applications

Booking the biker is simple. Call NADRA’s helpline 1777 (mobile) or 051-111-786-100 (landline) and speak to a representative. Share the details of the service you need — a new CNIC, renewal, modification, or a B-Form for a child. After the call you will get an SMS confirmation with your appointment details. A NADRA biker carrying the full registration equipment will then visit your home or office at the appointed time and complete the application or update process. Keep your existing documents (old CNIC, birth certificate where applicable) ready for the visit.

Cost and Payment Options for the NADRA Biker Service

The biker visit carries an additional Rs 1,000 service charge ON TOP of the normal CNIC processing fee — the Rs 1,000 is not the total cost of the card. Per NADRA’s official fee schedule, a new (first-time) CNIC costs Free in the Normal category, Rs 1,150 in Urgent and Rs 2,150 in Executive; renewal, modification or duplicate costs Rs 400 Normal, Rs 1,150 Urgent and Rs 2,150 Executive. So, for example, a new CNIC in the Urgent category via the biker service would be the Rs 1,150 category fee plus the Rs 1,000 biker service charge. You can pay by card or cash. After processing, NADRA couriers the card directly to your doorstep, so there is no need to visit a NADRA office at any stage.

What the Biker Service Cannot Replace: First-Time CNIC vs Pak ID App

The biker service remains the only home-based option for a first-time new CNIC: per NADRA’s own service SOP, brand-new CNICs are issued through NADRA centres, mobile registration vans, the biker service and embassies — not through the Pak ID portal. Renewals, modifications and reprints, however, can now be done fully from home on the Pak Identity mobile app, so you only need the biker if you are applying for the first time or prefer in-person processing at home.

Pak ID Mobile App for Online Identity Services

NADRA’s official Pak Identity app has become a full digital alternative for most services. Through the app you can renew your CNIC, modify details, or get a reprint of a lost, damaged or expired card without visiting a centre. Since September 2026, renewals are fully digital from your phone, and you can now also change your CNIC photo and permanent address from home via the app, along with NICOP applications for overseas Pakistanis. For B-Forms and new registrations, the app guides you through the documentary requirements.

The app is user-friendly and provides an alternative for those who prefer to manage their identity-related tasks digitally. The initiative aims to enhance the digital experience for citizens and provide greater convenience.

Benefits of Home-Based CNIC Services

NADRA’s biker service brings several benefits to the citizens. This eliminates the need to travel to NADRA offices, reducing transportation costs and time spent waiting in queues. It also ensures that citizens can get their ID without taking time off from work or other commitments. Additionally, this service is especially beneficial for individuals who have mobility issues or who live in remote areas where it may be difficult to visit a NADRA office. By providing doorstep service, NADRA is making timely access to identity documents easier for every citizen.

Safety note: never share your CNIC number or card tracking ID on social media or with unofficial agents. Book only through 1777, 051-111-786-100 or official NADRA channels — NADRA issued a public warning about tracking-ID fraud in August 2026.

NADRA’s Biker Service has grown from a 2022 Islamabad–Rawalpindi pilot into a multi-city doorstep service covering major cities including Lahore and Karachi, while the Pak Identity app now handles renewals and reprints fully online. For first-time applicants and anyone who cannot visit a centre, the biker remains the easiest home-based route to a new CNIC.
