Taleemi Wazaif for Non-Muslim Students

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has opened applications for the Pakistan Minorities Welfare Fund Scholarships for the financial year 2026-27 — Taleemi Wazaif for non-Muslim students. Non-Muslim students studying in government educational institutions can apply online through the ministry’s official website, and according to media reports the ministry has extended the last date to 19 October 2026.

This is the ministry’s own long-running scholarship scheme: the Minorities Welfare Fund has operated since 1985. It is, however, separate from BISP’s Benazir Taleemi Wazaif programme, which pays quarterly stipends to the school-going children of BISP Kafalat beneficiary families.
