Electric Motorbikes Registration: 2026 Update
Registration of electric motorbikes began in 2025 under the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme. Eligible students applied through a new online procedure. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced electric motorbikes for students. In the first phase, 20,000 motorbikes were provided to eligible students, including 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric motorbikes. A second phase with 100,000 electric bikes followed, and registration for the latest phase closed on 4 October 2026.
In the latest news, registration for electric motorbikes officially began in 2025 and the scheme has now completed its latest phase. Students who applied can check their application status on the official portal using their Tracking ID and CNIC.

الیکٹرک موٹر بائیکس کی رجسٹریشن 2025 میں سی ایم پنجاب ای بائیک اسکیم کے تحت شروع ہوئی۔ اہل طلباء نے نئے آن لائن طریقہ کار کے ذریعے درخواست دی۔ وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز نے طلباء کے لیے الیکٹرک موٹر سائیکلوں کا اعلان کیا۔ پہلے مرحلے میں اہل طلبہ کو 20 ہزار موٹر سائیکلیں فراہم کی گئیں، جن میں 19 ہزار پیٹرول بائیکس اور ایک ہزار الیکٹرک موٹر سائیکلیں شامل تھیں۔
This is a great gift from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to the students. Along with a subsidy of one billion rupees, a down payment of Rs 20,000 for eligible students was paid by the Punjab government, which also covered the markup. The first-phase application deadline was April 29, 2025.
