The balloting for the E-Bike Scheme 2026 was held on 10 October 2026, and the names of successful applicants are being published on the official portal. Students selected in the balloting will receive their electric bikes on a simple installment plan of only Rs. 3,028 per month, with no down payment required for students. The monthly installment has been kept low on purpose so that students from middle-class families can pay it easily from their own pocket money or part-time earnings. Once all installments are complete, the bike becomes the full property of the applicant.
E-Bike Scheme 2026 Eligibility, Guarantor Rules and Status Check
To qualify for the E-Bike Scheme 2026, the applicant must hold a Punjab domicile and be a student or teacher enrolled in a recognized institution. A valid CNIC is required for verification, and students under 18 can apply through a parent or guardian. Every applicant must also arrange a guarantor who takes responsibility for the monthly installments if the applicant misses a payment. One strict rule of the scheme is that the bike cannot be sold or transferred to anyone else until the loan is fully repaid. Students who applied can check their application status on the official portal bikes.punjab.gov.pk by entering their CNIC number and Tracking ID. If your name appears in the balloting result, complete the guarantor verification on the portal to collect your e-bike.
