Nigahban Dastarkhwan Program Under Ramadan Nigahban Package
On the arrival of Ramadan, the Punjab government has finalised large-scale arrangements under the Nigahban Dastarkhwan Program to provide free iftar meals to fasting citizens across the province. The initiative has officially been included in the Ramadan Nigahban Package, reflecting the government’s commitment to public welfare during the holy month.
Rs 6 Billion Approved for Nigahban Dastarkhwan Program
According to official sources, the government has approved Rs 6 billion specifically for the Nigahban Dastarkhwan Program. This amount will be used to set up iftar tables in every tehsil of Punjab, ensuring that free meals are available daily for thousands of fasting individuals.
The Nigahban Dastarkhwan Program is part of a broader Ramadan relief plan, under which the Punjab government will spend a total of Rs 49 billion on public welfare and relief measures during Ramadan.
One Million People to Benefit
