Appointment Booking Service
The National Database and Registration Authority has introduced a new appointment booking feature, allowing citizens to book a time slot at NADRA offices through the Pak ID mobile app.
With the feature in place, citizens no longer need to stand in line and wait for their turn at NADRA Registration Centers. They can reserve a slot from home and visit the office at their scheduled time instead.
NADRA has also rolled out an updated version of the Pak ID app, adding several new services. These include online complaints to the FIA, digital identity features, family record correction, and a signature upload option.
In its announcement, NADRA said citizens can use the Pak ID app to book an appointment at any NADRA office at a time that suits them, and should arrive shortly before their scheduled slot rather than waiting for a walk-in turn.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, the updated app now includes multiple features aimed at reducing the need for repeat office visits, including online FIA complaints, family record corrections, signature uploads, and access to digital identity documents.
Citizens can also check the status of their identity card application from home through the app.

How to Book an Appointment
Booking a slot takes only a few steps:
- Update the Pak ID app to the latest version.
- Log in with your registered account.
- Select the appointment option from the menu.
- Choose a NADRA center, date, and available time slot.
- Confirm the booking and note your scheduled time.
- Arrive at the center a few minutes early with your original CNIC.
There is no separate fee for booking the appointment itself. Standard service charges still apply for whichever NADRA service the visit is for.
Tracking Your Application
According to NADRA, applicants only need to log in to the Pak ID app, select the tracking option, and enter the tracking ID and PIN code from their receipt to view the application status.
The status can also be checked by sending the tracking ID to 8400 through SMS or by calling 1777.

Collect Your Card on Time
NADRA has reminded citizens to collect their identity cards on time after issuance.
Under the policy, if an identity card is not collected within three months after the final delivery date, it is destroyed. In such cases, the applicant must submit a fresh application and pay the fee again to obtain a new identity card.
