Carry your original CNIC when you go to collect. Payments are released only after biometric verification, and every BISP service is free — never pay any agent to ‘release’ your installment.

How to Check Your Eligibility Status
Check your status only through official channels. Send your 13-digit CNIC (without dashes) by SMS to 8171 — it is free — or enter it on the official portal: 8171.bisp.gov.pk. You will receive your eligibility and payment status.
Ignore any website or person asking you to ‘log in’ with your CNIC and mobile number on their own form. BISP never collects your details on unofficial websites, and there is no registration form on this site.

Open the messaging app on your registered mobile phone and send your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes) to 8171. You will get a reply with your eligibility and payment status, usually within a few minutes.
If the reply says your payment is ready, note the amount shown. For the October–December 2026 quarter the installment is Rs. 14,500. If a missed earlier quarter was also cleared, your combined amount can be Rs. 29,000.

How To File A Complaint In BISP
If an agent or retailer deducts money from your installment or demands a fee, report it immediately. The official complaint channel is the BISP toll-free helpline 0800-26477, or visit your nearest BISP tehsil office in person. BISP never charges any fee at any stage.
Keep your CNIC number and payment details ready when you call, so the helpline can investigate your case properly.

Collect your payment only from official channels: partner-bank retailers and biometric ATMs (HBL in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan; Bank Alfalah in KP, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan), BISP campsites during payment phases, or the Benazir digital wallet where the rollout has reached your district.
Since mid-2026, BISP has been moving beneficiaries to free Benazir digital wallets (free SIM and free wallet). A fixed Rs. 280 fee applies only when withdrawing cash from the wallet. Never pay agents — report any deduction on 0800-26477.
