BISP New Qist Registration for Disqualified Persons (2026 Update)
Good news for disqualified persons: you can still qualify for the new BISP qist by completing the NSER Dynamic Survey again. Important: there is no separate “NADRA registration” for BISP. Re-survey and re-verification happen only at your nearest BISP Tehsil Office; NADRA’s role is limited to issuing or renewing your CNIC if it has expired. Start by checking your status: send your 13-digit CNIC number by SMS to 8171, then visit the BISP Tehsil Office with your documents to complete the dynamic survey and biometric verification.
Take these documents with you to the BISP Tehsil Office:
- Original CNIC of the female head of the household
- Children’s NADRA B-Forms
- Latest electricity or gas bill
- Mobile SIM registered on your own CNIC
At the BISP Tehsil Office, submit your documents and complete the NSER Dynamic Survey. The staff will record your household information and take your biometric thumb verification on the spot.
The BISP representative will give you a registration form. Fill it in carefully and submit it back at the same office.
After your documents are checked, the representative will ask you questions about your household, income, and living conditions for the dynamic survey.
Answer all questions truthfully. Once your survey is complete, you will receive a confirmation SMS from 8171. This program supports the poorest families, and many households have rejoined after updating their records.
Please note: BISP has not announced any separate “NADRA registration” for the new qist. Previously disqualified persons rejoin through the ongoing NSER Dynamic Survey at BISP Tehsil Offices, where a fresh survey can correct an old or wrong record.
BISP New Qist Latest Update: Rs. 14,500 Quarterly Payment
The Benazir Income Support Program is an assistance program by the government that encourages the poor by providing funds. Not just one program, but there are many other programs called BISP that assist deserving people in various ways. It provides ration, monthly money to deserving people, educational scholarships to children, money to elderly people, disabled people, and monthly money to all people, by which they meet their needs.
In this program, you get assistance after confirming your eligibility. The quarterly Kafalat payment is now Rs. 14,500, increased from the earlier Rs. 13,500 to help families cope with rising inflation. Once your new survey confirms your eligibility, your payments resume at the current Rs. 14,500 rate.
Tip: Always confirm your payment status through an 8171 SMS before visiting a payment center, and never pay any agent for registration — all BISP services are free.
Where To Get New BISP Payment
Many people worry about how to collect their money after their eligibility is confirmed. There is no need to worry — once you receive the payment SMS from 8171, you can collect your qist through the official payment channels below.
Collect your payment only from verified channels: biometric ATMs of HBL and Bank Alfalah, HBL Konnect agents, or designated BISP campsites and payment centers. Take your original CNIC and complete thumb verification on the spot. Never hand your CNIC to an agent, and do not pay anyone for withdrawal — BISP payments are free of charge.
BISP 8171 Result Check Easy Way By CNIC
Check Your BISP Eligibility via 8171
If you want to be part of the Benazir Income Support Program and receive the Rs. 14,500 qist, first verify your eligibility. You can check it in two simple ways:
Method 1 — 8171 SMS: type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes) and send it by SMS to 8171. You will receive a reply with your eligibility status. This works on any mobile phone, including simple keypad phones.
Method 2 — Online portal: check your status on the official 8171 web portal by entering your CNIC number. The portal shows whether you are eligible, ineligible, or need a new survey.
Tip: keep the SIM registered on your own CNIC active — BISP sends all eligibility and payment alerts to that number.
September 2026 CNIC Re-Verification Campaign
In September 2026, BISP ran a nationwide CNIC re-verification campaign. If your CNIC was flagged as unverified or expired, visit the BISP Tehsil Office with your renewed CNIC and complete the NSER Dynamic Survey again. If you were marked ineligible earlier, read our guide on how ineligible candidates can re-register for Rs. 14,500.
How to File a BISP Complaint
If you face illegal deductions, agent fraud, or payment problems, call the BISP toll-free helpline 0800-26477 or visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office to register your complaint. You can find more step-by-step BISP guides on the 8171 BISP Information homepage.
Who Qualifies: PMT Score 32 or Below
BISP is a federal program run by the Government of Pakistan. Eligibility is decided by your NSER survey record and PMT (poverty) score — not by any provincial government. The current criteria are:
- The female head of the household holds a valid CNIC — BISP payments are issued in the woman’s name.
- The household’s PMT (poverty) score is 32 or below, as recorded in the NSER Dynamic Survey.
- No member of the household is a government employee.
- The family’s record is verified through the NSER Dynamic Survey at a BISP Tehsil Office.
- The CNIC is valid and not expired — get it renewed from NADRA first if it has expired.
- The household was not disqualified for fraud or fake documents in an earlier survey.
- Eligible families receive the quarterly Rs. 14,500 Kafalat payment.
