These 139 posts are not open on general merit. They are reserved specifically for eligible legal heirs of Sindh Police employees, under three categories defined in the Shaheed, Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota Recruitment Rules, 2021:
- Legal heirs of Shaheed police employees, where the employee attained martyrdom on or before the closing date of the advertisement. The applicant must hold domicile of the relevant Sindh Police range.
- Legal heirs of deceased or permanently invalidated/incapacitated employees, where the employee died or was incapacitated on or before September 26, 2024.
