CM Punjab Green Tractor Programme
Great news continues to roll in for the farmers of Punjab. Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of a “Golden Punjab,” the province’s agriculture sector is being modernized at a rapid pace, and one of the key initiatives driving this transformation is the Green Tractors Program.
Phase One Success Paves the Way for Phase Two
The program has already proven its worth, with 25,000 green tractors successfully distributed to farmers at subsidized rates in the earlier phase, giving small and medium-scale growers across the province access to modern farm machinery. Building on this success, the Punjab Agriculture Department has now announced the release of 10,000 additional tractors, specifically reserved for farmers seeking tractors in the 50 to 65 horsepower range.
